KPOP GUIDE 101: TIPS IF YOU’RE PLANNING TO ATTEND KPOP CONCERTS PART 2
Tuesday, September 20, 2016
I’m back today with
the continuation of my Kpop Guide 101: Tips if you’re planning to attend kpop
concert series. Have you read the first part? If you missed it you can check it here.
In the first part
I’ve provided tips about the things you need to prepare months before the
concert. Now, I am going to share to you the things you need to prepare a week
and the day before the concert.
Week
before the concert:
1 1. CONCERT
TICKET
You
must have now your concert ticket unless if you bought it online or to a
reseller and you agreed to get your concert ticket during the day of the
concert.
2 2. PLANE
TICKET
This
is for those fans that live far away or across other country. By now, you must
have your plane ticket already or if you have it on phone I suggest printing it
out just in case.
3 3. PROPS
Your
light stick, banner and other stuffs must be ready by now including your camera
and your extra memory cards.
4 4. READ
THE RULES
There
are concert rules that fans need to follow especially if the concert will be
held inside the arena, most common rules are No food inside the arena and No
DSLR’s. So you must read it ahead of time so that you will be informed about
the do’s and don’ts during the concert, you don’t want to be kicked out while
you are already having fun inside the concert right?
5 5. CHECK
THE PLACE YOU’RE GOING TO STAY
This
is for those fans like me who live from a far place or across other country. By
now you must have reserve a place for you to stay and check for tourist spot
around the area for you to visit if you are planning to stay longer. Check also
how to get to the place from the airport.
6 6. CHECK
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE
If
you are new to the place google map is your best friend or you if you have a
friend who lives or know the area you can always ask that friend to help you
with directions.
7 7. PREPARE
THE THINGS YOU WILL BRING
Prepare
the stuff you will bring such as clothes (if you plan to stay for a couple of
days), makeup and skincare products, props and the like.
So that are the
things you need to prepare a week before the concert.
Day
before the concert:
By this time you are
so thrill and excitement is all over you. But set aside the excitement first
and focus on preparing all the things you need for tomorrow’s big day.
Things to prepare a
day before the concert:
1 1. BAG
I
suggest a backpack or a small bag (whichever type of bag you prefer) where you
can put your stuffs like camera, extra clothes, wallet, phone, light stick,
banner, etc.
2 2. CONCERT
TICKET
Do
not forget this! Your concert ticket is your pass to see your oppa/unnie/hyung/noona.
I suggest to put this first in your bag, how waste of time and energy if ever
you are already in the venue and you just found out that you forgot your
concert ticket, right?
3 3. CLOTHES TO WEAR AND EXTRA CLOTHES
Ready
your outfit for tomorrow. I suggest wearing comfortable clothes like shorts,
shirt and shoes it is something most concert goers wear and you can always add
some accessories and other stuffs to look more fashionable. But if you want to
wear something noticeable and pair up with heels you can if you can handle the
pain later since you will be standing for like 4 to 5 hours or more. If you
want to dress like your bias or your favorite group again you can, there’s no
limit to fashion. But make sure that you’re not showing too much skin to avoid
unwanted incidents. Bring also extra clothes since after the concert trust me
you will be full of sweat especially if you are in the standing area.
4. FULL
CHARGED BATTERIES AND POWER BANK
That
includes your phone, your camera and
the like; bring also a power bank just in case.
5 5. MAKE
UP
To
groom yourself and if you want to wear a special make up for the concert
because you will going to cosplay your bias you need to bring makeup for backup
in case your make up gets messed up.
And I think you are
all set for the big day tomorrow! Yaayy! After preparing these things you need
to save your energy so SLEEP EARLY try
to sleep at least more than 8 hours because trust me attending a concert and
meeting new kpop friends is FUN! You
don’t want to get sleepy and super tired already while the concert just begun,
right? And especially if you have hi touch or photo op or meet and greet with
your favorite group after the concert and you are so tired and sleepy already,
right? So better get some rest!
Did I miss anything
out? If so please comment it down.
Thank you for reading
and please stay tune for the next part of my KPOP GUIDE 101 Series.
God Bless you
